Lidia (Scagnolari) Al-Qattan
Born on the 8-12-1936 in Italy
Artist (painter, sculpture, and jeweler), Writer, and Creator of the Mirror House (design and building)
Artistic involvement began in Kuwait in 1962
Follows the school of CIRCULISM (a trend based on philosophy created by Kuwaiti artist Khalifa Al-Qattan)
Joined the Spring Exhibition of 1962 and scores of collectives since then.
The first three personal exhibitions were held in 1979, 1981, and 1983 at the University of Kuwait.
The subsequent personal exhibition held in 1987, 1988, and 1992 were held at the Free Art Atelier.
In 1994 the 7th personal exhibition was held in Fayasil Art Gallery.
In 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 personal exhibitions were held at the Kuwait Arts Association.
In 2004 the latest personal exhibition was held at the National Exhibition Hall.
As a creative free lance writer, in the field of biography, history, philosophy, art and culture she has several publications:
