He worked at
Ministry of Information then at the Department of
Antiquities and Museums and was appointed full-time Artist
at the Free Atelier in 1977.
He completed his artistic studies at the National high
school of Fine Arts in Paris Beaux-Arts from 1972 - 1976. *
He was a member of the Kuwait Society for Formative Arts
from 1968 - 1972.
He participated in all exhibitions of the Society during
that period both in Kuwait and abroad.
He participated in all exhibitions of the Free Atelier.
He participated in several exhibitions in Paris during his
period of study as follows:
(1)Salon d'autome Homage of Michel Angelo in 1976 at the
Grand Palais in Paris.
(2)Le SALON DES ARTISTES FRANCAIS LA-LIBERTE in 1976 at the
Grand Palais in Paris.
(3)Foreign Artists exhibition in 1975 at Orly -Sud airport
in Paris.
(4)Arab Students exhibition in 1975 at the Iraui Cultural
Centre in Paris.
One - Man show in Paris in 1975 at the Middle East
Cultural Centre.
He supervised the state's exhibitions in the following:-
1969 - Bahrain - Commercial Secondary School - Manama.
1970 Lebanon - Hall of Tourism Ministry - Beirut.
1971 Yemen - Abdullah al - Salem Libarary - Sanaa.
1973 France - Gallery Herve Odermatt Paris.
1975 France - Gallery Herve Odermatt Paris.
1977 - France - Salon d'autome - Grand Palais - Paris.
1978 - Qatar - Qatar Museum Hall - Doha.
1978 - He participated in the 10th International Sculptures
conference. in Toronto - Canada.
1979 - Accompanied the Kuwaiti Cultural Week in Baghdad.
1980 - was invited to Arts and Society Conference – in
Boston - Philadelphia - Santa Fe - Los Angeles - Washington
New York in U.S.A.
1981 - Accompanied the Kuwait Exhibition at the Aviation
Exhibition in Frankfurt Airport at the invitation of Kuwait
Airways Corporation.
1981 -Represented Kuwait Exhibition in Sosa City Tunisia.
1981 - invited by North yemen to participate in the Arab
Arts Exhibition in Sanaa
1982 - Accompanied Kuwait exhibition to Madrid and
Barcelona on the Occasion of Football Cup Matches.
1982 - Appointed as the General Secretary of the Free
Atelier.
1984 - Represented Kuwait in the 1st Cairo International
Biennial.
1985 - Participated in the 1st International Sculpture
Conference in Zarauts City, in Spain.
1985 - Participated in the Safat Monument competition and
was awarded the 3rd prize.
1985 - 1986 participated in Artists Friends exhibition in
Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Doha, Riyadh, Jeddah, Bahrain and Kuwait.
1986 - Participated in Artists Friends exhibition in Cairo.
- 1986 Represented Kuwait in 2nd International Cairo
Biennial.
1987 - Participated in the Free Atelier exhibition on the
occasion of its silver Jubilee.
* 1987 - participated in Kuwait Environmental exhibition
organized by Kuwaiti Museum and was awarded the Shield.
* 1987 - participated in the Artists Friends exhibition in
Tunis.
* 1987 - participated in the Artists Friends exhibition in
Madrid.
