Wednesday 11/11/1992 the fine artist (Ameer Abdul-Ridah) has passed
away. His death caused a significantly large loss to the sector of art,
artists and to his younger brother the famous Kuwaiti artist
(Abdul-Husain Abdul-Ridah). This is god's will. He was multi-talented in
many art areas other than being just an artist in paintings. He also had
a part in television productions, written and introduced two art
programs (1970-1984) and Dolls Theater as he was the inventor of the
character (Bu-za'alan). He was also a good musician that has the ability
to play on more than one type of musical instrument. His talents
exceeded these gifts since he was in addition an author of many kids
stories and fictions. Furthermore, he has been participated in many
theatrical kids productions and many exhibitions held in and outside
Kuwait. He was awarded many art prices. |
